Moral Case: My grandmother is weeks away from dying of cancer, and is in a lot of pain. Why does the Catholic Church have a problem with her decision to pursue physician assisted suicide/euthanasia if she’s going to die soon anyway?

Intentional euthanasia, whatever its forms or motives, is murder. It is gravely contrary to the dignity of the human person and to the respect due to the living God, his Creator.
